Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Life actuarial role in Guardian's Actuarial Student Program based in New York (NYC) or Holmdel, NJ. You will perform financial and non-financial analyses, assist with actuarial modeling (AXIS) and work on assets-liabilities interactions while rotating departments every 18–24 months. Ideal for actuarial students near the SOA Associate level with 2+ years' actuarial experience.

Hybrid role: NYC or Holmdel, 3 days in office / 2 days WFH
Suitable for actuarial students close to SOA Associate (ASA) with 2+ years' experience

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Prior actuarial work experience
AXIS modeling experience (preferred)
Understanding of assets-liabilities interaction in actuarial models
Proficient Excel modelling

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree required
At least 2 years of relevant actuarial experience
Prior work experience in the actuarial field
Proficient in Excel
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
