HIGHLIGHTS

Life & annuity reserving role supporting valuation and reserve modelling for life and annuity products in Boston. You will build financial projections in FIS Prophet, perform experience analysis and assumption reviews, and support monthly/quarterly valuations and regulatory filings. Actuarial Assistant level requiring 2+ years experience and at least three SOA exams.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Support reserve valuation for life and annuity products using FIS Prophet
  • Perform experience analysis and annual assumption reviews (mortality, lapse, expense)
  • Support monthly and quarterly valuations and regulatory filings, incl. RBC
  • Use R, Python, VBA, and SQL for analyses and automation
  • Hybrid role – onsite every other week in Boston, MA

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • reserve valuation for life and annuity products
  • mortality, lapse, withdrawal and expense assumption review
  • FIS Prophet actuarial modelling
  • preparation of regulatory filings and RBC assessment

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • At least two years of actuarial experience
  • At least three SOA exams completed
  • Experience with FIS Prophet actuarial software
  • Proficiency in R, Python, VBA, or SQL
  • Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
