We support employees through the completion of the actuarial examination and credentialing process via competitive paid study time and full coverage of exam expenses (SOA exam fees and exam preparation material). We also provide well-rounded experience via rotations across job functions and product lines.

Eligibility for certain aspects of the Actuarial Program vary by position and are dependent upon the employee staying within good standing with the Actuarial Program.

    • Provide support for PBR assumptions and margins
    • Prepare documentation of assumption controls for internal and external auditors
    • Develop new reporting/analysis tools as necessary
    • Interact with other departments and individuals within the organization
    • Perform data analysis on experience data, which could include SQL code, as well as concepts from predictive analytics

    • Strong communication skills
    • Annuity knowledge (Fixed or Variable) is preferred
    • GGY AXIS and/or PolySystems knowledge is preferred
    • Initiative to learn and grow -- a drive to establish/maintain relationships

We protect financial wellbeing through contributions to healthcare accounts, a pension plan, and a 401(k) plan with Company matching. All employees are encouraged to protect their overall wellbeing by engaging in ProHealth Rewards, Protective's platform to improve wellbeing while earning cash rewards.
