JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead preparation, analysis, and presentation of quarterly loss and LAE reserves
- Primary focus on P&C reserving with secondary work in pricing and capital modeling
- Consulting role advising insurance and reinsurance clients; client-facing and business development
- Hybrid position with flexibility to work from Chicago, Minneapolis, or New York offices
- Ideal for an actuary with 5+ years reserving experience and familiarity with R/SQL/Python
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- P&C reserving and reserve analysis
- quarterly loss and LAE reserve preparation and presentation
- Statements of Actuarial Opinion (SAO) experience
- economic capital modeling for P&C
- pricing and predictive modelling including GLMs and ML
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of P&C reserving and reserve analysis experience
- Experience preparing, analyzing, and presenting quarterly loss and LAE reserve estimates
- Solid understanding of actuarial reserving methodologies and quantitative analysis
