Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

A P&C actuarial pricing role on Verisk's E&S (Excess & Surplus) property team. You will develop creative pricing solutions for complex, non-admitted property risks in both commercial and personal lines, working with disparate data sources and building actuarial product solutions. This hybrid role based in Jersey City, NJ (or remote from Eastern time zone) requires 4-6 years of E&S property pricing experience and is ideal for an ACAS or near-ACAS actuary who enjoys working in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.

Analyze and synthesize diverse data sources to support property pricing analytics
Own workstreams end-to-end from problem definition to client delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data ops and client actuarial teams

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

E&S property pricing (commercial and/or personal)
Data management and analysis for non-standardized processes

KEY REQUIREMENTS

4-6 years actuarial experience with E&S property pricing focus
Exam 5 required (ACAS preferred)
SQL proficiency required; experience with SAS, R, or Python
Data management skills and experience with complex datasets
Ability to work independently and drive projects under ambiguity
