Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Build and maintain actuarial financial models and templates for life products
Analyze reserves, liabilities, VNB, cash flows and financial performance
Develop dashboards and reporting using Tableau, SQL and Excel
Prepare presentations and documentation for senior management
Fully onsite at 44 South Broadway, White Plains, NY

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Building and maintaining financial templates and visualizations including income statements and balance sheets
Working with large complex datasets including validation, reconciliation and updates
Developing actuarial models incorporating mortality, lapse, interest and VNB assumptions
Evaluating financial and actuarial results to assess risk and profitability
Reporting actuarial insights via reports, presentations and professional documentation

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Economics or Finance
2+ years as an Actuarial Associate or similar in financial planning/valuation
Passed at least 4 actuarial exams and actively pursuing ASA/FSA
Hands-on Excel modelling and experience with large, complex datasets
Experience with SQL and Tableau for reporting and data visualisation
