JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Life actuarial FP&A role focused on valuation, reserves, and VNB
- Build and maintain financial and actuarial models using Excel and SQL
- Develop reports and visualizations in Tableau to support leadership
- Fully onsite in White Plains, NY (44 South Broadway, 10601)
- Requires 2+ years’ experience and at least 4 actuarial exams passed
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Building income statement and balance sheet financial templates in Excel
- Working with large complex datasets and performing data validation
- Developing actuarial models incorporating mortality, lapse, interest, and VNB
- Validating reserves and assessing liabilities, profits, and cash flows
- Preparing actuarial analyses and reports for senior management
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Stats, Finance or related
- Minimum 2 years as an Actuarial Associate or similar role
- Must have passed at least 4 actuarial exams
- Experience building valuation models including mortality and lapse
- Hands-on Excel and SQL experience; Tableau for reporting
