Entry-level P&C actuarial associate supporting reserving, ratemaking, and business intelligence for a property/casualty carrier. You will prepare and verify data, maintain modeling templates, and support cross-functional partners from Fond du Lac, WI with hybrid/remote options. The role expects passing actuarial exams (one exam completed and one CAS exam per year target) and proficiency with Excel and databases.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support reserving, ratemaking, and business intelligence for a P&C insurer
- Prepare and verify data and maintain ratemaking/reserving templates
- Work collaboratively with Claims, Underwriting, Finance, and IT
- Hybrid role — remote/home office with expectation to be on-site one day/week
- Expectations include passing actuarial exams (one completed; one per year goal)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Proficiency with Excel and databases
- Successful completion of at least one actuarial exam
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in math/statistics/economics OR 2 years actuarial work experience
- Successful completion of at least one actuarial exam
- Proficiency with Excel and database tools
- Able to be on-site one day per week and commutable to Fond du Lac, WI
