Associate-level Individual Life valuation role focused on statutory and best-estimate reserves. You will support quarterly and annual valuation cycles, assumption updates, and actuarial analysis in New York City. Reporting to the AVP & Actuary, IL Valuation at a global reinsurance firm.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Support statutory and best-estimate reserve valuation for Individual Life
Contribute to quarterly and annual valuation cycles and audit requests
Perform experience analyses and implement assumption updates
Work with actuarial models and maintain valuation documentation and controls
GGY AXIS experience preferred; R or Python knowledge is a bonus

Actual-to-expected experience analysis
Valuation projection and documentation controls

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
Minimum two actuarial exams completed with commitment to ASA/FSA progression
1–2 years of experience in an actuarial-related field (pensions/insurance/reinsurance)
Experience with actuarial modeling tools preferred (GGY AXIS)
