JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support pricing and structuring of health reinsurance treaties and stop-loss placements
- Build predictive models and dashboards using large claims line-level datasets
- Collaborate with brokers, reinsurers, and clients on submissions and data ingestion
- Hands-on financial modelling in Excel; familiarity with SQL, R, Python or PySpark
- Associate-level role (1–3 years’ actuarial experience) based in Philadelphia
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- AHL reinsurance or health insurance actuarial work
- Experience with stop-loss products or health reinsurance
- Pricing or underwriting experience in health insurance (preferred/advantage)
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 1–3 years of actuarial experience in AHL reinsurance, healthcare, benefits, or health insurance
- Financial modelling experience in Excel
- Experience working with claims-level datasets and preparing client-ready analyses
