Summer Health actuarial internship with Amwins’ Benefits Division in Charlotte, North Carolina. You’ll analyze medical and pharmacy claims, support stop-loss pricing and product development, research market trends, and contribute to renewal and self-funding analyses. The 8-12 week onsite program is aimed at college students, preferably rising juniors or seniors with at least one actuarial exam.

Requirements

Must have

  • Enrolled at an accredited college or university

Strongly preferred

  • Rising Junior or Senior for Fall 2027
  • 1+ Actuarial Exams passed
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with coding (SAS, Python, R, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Nice to have

  • Recommended GPA of 3.0 or above
