Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Health actuarial consultant supporting a risk-adjustment and value-based team. You'll build models for pricing, forecasting and valuation for commercial and government health lines, produce routine and ad-hoc reports, and support annual pricing and financial accruals. This is a fully remote role open to candidates in the United States.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Develop pricing, forecasting, and valuation models for commercial and government health lines
Prepare data, produce routine and ad-hoc reports, and analyze actual vs. expected experience
Present technical results to actuarial management and perform peer reviews
Provide guidance to new team members and manage multiple assignments independently
Fully remote role; BS/BA required and 2+ years actuarial experience expected

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

healthcare actuarial experience
risk adjustment and value-based analytics
reporting and data analysis for actuarial models

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years of actuarial or related experience
Completion of 3 or more SOA exams required
BS/BA in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or related field required
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office suite
Strong reporting and data analysis skills with clear communication ability
