Health actuarial consultant supporting a risk-adjustment and value-based team. You'll build models for pricing, forecasting and valuation for commercial and government health lines, produce routine and ad-hoc reports, and support annual pricing and financial accruals. This is a fully remote role open to candidates in the United States.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Develop pricing, forecasting, and valuation models for commercial and government health lines
- Prepare data, produce routine and ad-hoc reports, and analyze actual vs. expected experience
- Present technical results to actuarial management and perform peer reviews
- Provide guidance to new team members and manage multiple assignments independently
- Fully remote role; BS/BA required and 2+ years actuarial experience expected
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- healthcare actuarial experience
- risk adjustment and value-based analytics
- reporting and data analysis for actuarial models
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of actuarial or related experience
- Completion of 3 or more SOA exams required
- BS/BA in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or related field required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office suite
- Strong reporting and data analysis skills with clear communication ability
