Closer to a regulatory filing role than a pricing-underwriting partnership role because DOI submissions, sign-off, and objection responses define the workflow.

Senior P&C actuarial consultant role, fully remote in the United States. You’ll support pricing and personal-lines state filings, including rate development, trend analysis, DOI documentation, objection responses, and model interpretation. ACAS or FCAS designation and at least four years of actuarial experience are required.

Requirements

Must have

ACAS or FCAS designation
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent experience (4+ years)
P&C insurance experience

Strongly preferred

State filing experience with DOI for personal lines
Competency in actuarial, mathematical, and statistical techniques
Intermediate knowledge of Python/SQL for data analysis and visualization
Ability to independently apply complex actuarial methodologies to unstructured projects
Data selection, model execution, and results communication
Utilize actuarial techniques to enhance work product
Ensure risk identification and control compliance
