You will develop premium rates, build actuarial models, perform data mining, and produce Stop Loss rate filings while participating in the Actuarial Leadership Development Program (ALDP). Remote across the U.S. with in-office requirements for Minneapolis and Washington, D.C. hires.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Price Large Group Stop Loss products and produce Stop Loss rate filings
- Build and maintain actuarial pricing models and perform data mining
- Use SQL, SAS, and/or VBA plus advanced Excel for model development
- Participate in the Actuarial Leadership Development Program (ALDP)
- Remote within the U.S.; Minneapolis/DC hires require 4 days/week onsite
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Actuarial model development
- Collecting and analyzing quantitative data
- Stop Loss rate filing production
- SQL, SAS, and/or VBA for model development
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate degree required
- 3+ years of actuarial experience
- Passed 4+ actuarial exams
- Hands-on actuarial model development experience
- Proficiency with SQL, SAS, and/or VBA; advanced Excel
