You will prepare regulatory filing exhibits, propose rate changes, and present recommendations to underwriting and actuarial leaders. Role is hybrid based from CNA actuarial hub locations including Chicago, IL and requires ~4+ years' experience and actuarial exam progress.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Prepare state rate filings, exhibits, memos and regulatory submissions
- Perform competitor research and quantify rate impacts for pricing decisions
- Design and maintain automated tools for data extraction, transformation and validation
- Work hybrid from a CNA Actuarial Hub (Chicago, IL and other hubs)
- Ideal for candidates with 4+ years and 3+ CAS exams completed

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 4 years of related actuarial or insurance experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Actuarial Science or equivalent
- Successfully completed at least 3 CAS exams (Associateship strongly preferred)
- Experience preparing state rate filings and regulatory submissions
- Working knowledge of data marts; SQL and VBA proficiency preferred
