Senior P&C actuarial consultant role on Nationwide's Personal Lines Auto team in Columbus, OH (role may be filled across the lower 48). You will lead pricing and risk analyses for personal auto, leverage telematics and predictive models, present findings to senior leaders, and mentor junior staff. The role requires actuarial credentials (ASA or ACAS) and strong coding skills in Python/R/SQL.

- Build and validate predictive models and present results to senior leadership
- Mentor junior actuaries and lead peer reviews and onboarding
- Work with Python, R, SQL; experience with Databricks and Snowflake a plus
- Intended location Columbus, OH; may be filled across the lower 48 or consider remote internal candidates
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Personal auto pricing and telematics
- Predictive modeling for P&C pricing
- Presenting actuarial findings to senior leadership
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of actuarial experience (generally 5+ years preferred)
- Professional actuarial credential: ASA or ACAS (or significant progress)
- Strong programming and data skills in Python, R, and SQL
- Experience in personal auto pricing and telematics
- Must be eligible to work in the US without employer sponsorship
