JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Develop reserving strategies for Workers Compensation and Commercial Auto
- Monitor profitability, claims trends, and produce reserving analyses
- Advise peers and business partners to influence reserving decisions
- Hybrid role based from CNA actuarial hubs (Chicago and other US hubs)
- Typical candidate: ~4+ years experience and 3–5 CAS exams (near ACAS)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Workers Compensation reserving
- Commercial Auto reserving
- Actuarial reserving analysis and reporting
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Typically a minimum of four years of related actuarial experience
- Typically at least three to five successfully completed CAS exams
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent
- Experience with Workers Compensation or Commercial Auto reserving
- Ability to manage multiple moderately complex projects independently
