JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Design actuarial knowledge graphs and ontological models for actuarial processes
- Translate actuarial workflows into scalable technical frameworks with data engineers
- Analyze insurance datasets and support modeling to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Support data transformation, validation, and ingestion across actuarial systems
- Consultant-level role (1–3 years) in Capco’s Insurance practice, NY or Chicago
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- 1–3 years in insurance or financial services
- Progress toward actuarial credentials with 2+ exams passed
- Experience applying actuarial concepts to data and modeling
- Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
- Experience with data transformation, validation, and ingestion
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 1–3 years’ experience as an actuarial associate, analyst, or data scientist
- Successful completion of 2+ actuarial exams (e.g., P, FM, SRM)
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field required
- Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and modeling
- Experience in insurance or financial services environments
