Ensure data quality and development for reserving, trend and forecasting
Support EDW architecture and enterprise data design decisions
Manage, coach and mentor data analysts (3+ years supervisory experience required)
Hands-on technical environment using SAS, SQL, mainframe and Unix

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Managed care or health insurance experience
IBNR setting or predictive modeling experience
Provider payment strategies like capitation or DRG reimbursement
Working knowledge of BCBSF financial, claims and enrollment systems
Testing and validation of analytical results

KEY REQUIREMENTS

6+ years related experience in managed care/health insurance
3+ years of direct supervisory or management experience
Related Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Strong proficiency in SAS and SQL plus mainframe and Unix experience
Working knowledge of BCBSF information systems and data interrelationships
