JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead predictive modeling and advanced analytics for P&C pricing
Manage and mentor a team of data scientists and actuarial analytics staff
Serve as enterprise Product Owner for Akur8 and govern model use
Develop Akur8-ready datasets from AAIS databases and ensure data integrity
Remote-first role (minimal travel up to 5%) with strategic cross-functional work

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

P&C predictive modeling and pricing
Akur8 implementation and product ownership
Creating modeling-ready datasets from policy/claims data
Supporting state filing materials for pricing use-cases
Leading actuarial analytics teams and strategic initiatives

KEY REQUIREMENTS

7–10 years of insurance experience focused on actuarial analytics or pricing
Experience in the property & casualty insurance industry
Demonstrated people management and strategic leadership experience
Advanced proficiency in SAS, SQL, R, Python and Excel/VBA; Akur8 experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related field
