JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Build AI-powered developer tooling and actuarial modeling frameworks
  • Design and optimize scalable backend services and APIs using Python
  • Develop AI agents and prompt/skillsets (e.g., LangGraph, Claude Agent)
  • Work with actuaries to finalize modeling specifications
  • Minneapolis-based role requiring 5+ years insurance industry experience

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Insurance industry backend systems
  • Cloud infrastructure and containerization
  • Python development with NumPy and Pandas
  • AI agent development (LangGraph, Claude Agent)
  • REST API development (FastAPI/Flask/Django)

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years insurance industry experience designing scalable backend systems
  • Strong programming proficiency in Python
  • Experience developing AI agents (LangGraph, Claude Agent or similar)
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases and REST APIs (FastAPI/Flask/Django)
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and data pipelines
