Director-level actuarial role focused on pet health insurance (US). You will lead product development, pricing, and predictive modelling for pet health and wellness products, manage a product & analytics team, and partner with underwriting and cross-functional stakeholders. This is a remote role reporting to the Head of Product and Analytics.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead ideation, design, and pricing of pet health insurance products
- Own product lifecycle from market research to filings and implementation
- Build predictive models to estimate loss costs and customer lifetime value
- Manage and mentor the product and analytics team (2+ years management experience)
- Remote Director role reporting to the Head of Product and Analytics
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Product development and pricing strategies in insurance
- Risk management for insurance products
- Experience building actuarial and predictive models
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of professional actuarial experience
- 2+ years of people management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Python
