JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead forecasting and trend analytics for Exchange, Student Resources, and Level Funded
- Shape actuarial methodologies, assumptions, and governance for medical and pharmacy cost projections
- Work with large healthcare datasets and analytic tools (SQL, SAS, R, Python, Excel)
- High-visibility director role with mentorship and team-building responsibilities
- Onsite role in Eden Prairie, MN; relocation assistance available
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Medical expense forecasting and trend development
- Experience within payer, provider, or value-based care environments
- Developing actuarial models using large, complex healthcare datasets
- Scenario analysis and risk assessments to support budgeting and outlook
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Credentialed Actuary (FSA or ASA) required
- 8+ years healthcare actuarial experience with increasing leadership responsibility
- 6+ years in medical expense forecasting, trend development, and risk management
- Advanced Excel and experience with SQL, SAS, R, Python, VBA, or Power BI
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
