JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead Actuarial Pricing & Research and own rate/product filings across 35+ jurisdictions
- Manage and scale a 10+ FTE cross-functional pricing organization
- Drive national expansion pricing efforts (7+ new states in next 12 months)
- Advance pricing automation and filing infrastructure; partner with Data Science and Engineering
- Director-level role (FCAS required) with US flexible/remote work policy
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- personal lines pricing (auto) and segmentation/UBI
- regulatory filing strategy and DOI negotiations
- building pricing automation and filing infrastructure
- trend modeling and actuarial assumption setting
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FCAS credential and at least 10+ years of progressive actuarial experience
- 3+ years of people management including hiring and performance reviews
- Deep personal lines pricing and regulatory filings experience
- Experience building pricing automation and scalable filing processes
- Comfort with SQL and R/Python for analytics collaboration
