Remote US Health actuarial Director role in OneDigital’s Health & Benefits Actuarial team. You’ll lead employer health benefits analytics, financial forecasting, risk modelling, client deliverables, and people management while advising clients from mid-management through the C-suite. The role covers commercial employer health, stop loss, reinsurance, dental, and vision programs.

Requirements

Must have

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience holding relevant actuarial credentials
Experience leading and managing people
3+ years of experience building risk models
3+ years of experience with client-facing responsibilities
Expert proficiency with MS Excel (including VBA)
Expert proficiency with R or Python

Strongly preferred

BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, finance, economics or related field
Deep understanding of health insurance, medical stop loss, reinsurance, and ancillary employee benefit products
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proven project management skills and creative problem-solving abilities
Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
