Role Summary

Director-level Life actuarial role leading Universal Life valuation and financial reporting in Birmingham, AL (hybrid). You will oversee Statutory, GAAP, and Tax reserves, SOX controls, model governance, and quarterly valuation/earnings analysis. The role manages and mentors valuation staff and partners with Finance, ALM, Risk and other actuarial teams.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required
ASA or equivalent designation required
Minimum of 3 years as a credentialed actuary within the insurance industry
Strong knowledge of Statutory, GAAP, and Tax valuation principles
Ability to work hybrid in Birmingham, AL (3 days/week) preferred
