The role translates actuarial/product requirements into technical architectures, roadmaps, and deployment strategies while engaging senior stakeholders and client teams.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead engineering teams delivering actuarial platforms and client solutions
- Design end-to-end cloud-native data, analytics, API and dashboard architectures
- Translate actuarial and financial requirements into technical roadmaps
- Act as technical lead during delivery and present to senior stakeholders
- Hybrid role based in New York (satellite office) with East Coast flexibility
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Leading delivery teams of 9–20 resources on IT or finance transformations
- Designing enterprise cloud, data, and analytics platforms
- Implementing cloud-native architectures and full-stack solutions
- APIs, microservices, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of actuarial and financial workflows and regulatory considerations
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Proven leadership managing delivery teams or programs (9–20 resources)
- Strong experience designing enterprise cloud, data, and analytics platforms
- Hands-on with cloud-native architectures and full-stack development
- Experience with APIs/microservices, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of actuarial/financial workflows and regulatory considerations
