JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Price Financial Lines (Private Company Management Liability) within Global Specialty
  • Develop and maintain actuarial pricing methodologies and price monitoring tools
  • Support semi-annual reserve studies, loss ratio planning and profitability analysis
  • Use R and SQL for predictive modelling and process enhancements
  • Hybrid role in Hartford (3 days/week, Tue–Thu); hubs in Charlotte, Chicago, New York considered

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Property and Casualty actuarial experience (4+ years)
  • Actuarial pricing and reserving techniques
  • Experience with Private Company Management Liability / Financial Lines
  • Frequency and severity trend analyses and loss ratio planning
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with R and SQL preferred

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 4 years of Property & Casualty actuarial experience
  • ACAS or near-ACAS preferred (6–7 exams) but not strictly required
  • Proficiency in Excel required; experience with R and SQL preferred
  • Experience with actuarial pricing and reserving techniques
  • Eligible to work in the US (visa/sponsorship not specified)
