Life actuarial internship in Minneapolis with an insurer, spanning product development, valuation, finance, and risk management. You’ll work with actuaries on business projects, use tools such as Python, SQL, and Power BI, and present an individual project to senior leaders. The role is intended for a current college junior who has passed at least one actuarial exam.

Requirements

Must have

  • At least one actuarial exam passed
  • Valid work authorization without need for future visa sponsorship

Strongly preferred

  • Current Junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related field
  • Graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028

Nice to have

  • High degree of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics
  • Proven organization skills and ability to manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work and communicate collaboratively and constructively with others
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
