Closer to a structured student development role than a modelling-heavy internship because the exposure spans several actuarial functions and products.

P&C actuarial internship in Chicago supporting Product & Actuarial Analysis. You will work across non-standard auto, commercial auto, and general liability on product development, rating comparisons, reserve reviews, regulatory filings, and financial reporting.

Requirements

Must have

  • Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Strongly preferred

  • Pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work 40 hours a week
  • Willingness to work part-time during the school year

Nice to have

  • SOA/CAS exams are a plus
