Life actuarial internship in Lansing, Michigan, supporting product development and broader actuarial department initiatives for an insurer. You’ll conduct research and analysis, assist with projects, and work alongside management and senior actuaries. The full-time role is in-office and intended for second- or third-year undergraduates or first-year master’s students.
Requirements
Must have
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Enrolled in 2nd-3rd year undergraduate or 1st year master's program in Actuarial Science or related field
Strongly preferred
- Associates or Bachelor's coursework
- Exposure to a programming language
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to interface with various management levels
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to manage time and competing priorities
- Exposure to advanced computer applications
- Drive to learn about the actuarial field
- Full-time in-office work
