Closer to a structured student programme than a modelling-heavy IC role because assignments change across several actuarial functions rather than building depth in one.

Life actuarial internship in Rosemont, Illinois, covering individual life and annuity valuation, modeling and forecasting, product work, and asset-liability management. The intern will support monthly reporting, reserves, statutory statements, model projections, and product analysis while rotating across changing assignments.

Requirements

Strongly preferred

Progress towards or completion of a BA/BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, or related area
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong business and collaboration skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, PPT)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Flexible can-do attitude, willing to help with all types of tasks
Passion to learn new things and design new solutions
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
