Closer to a structured student programme than a modelling-heavy role because learning, networking, and varied assignments matter as much as technical output.
Paid summer P&C actuarial internship in Trenton, New Jersey, within NJM’s Actuarial Department. You’ll rotate into personal auto, property, commercial lines pricing, or reserving, using Excel, SQL, SAS, and Power BI to analyze data, lead a project, and present recommendations to management.
Requirements
Must have
- 3.0 or higher overall GPA
Strongly preferred
- Current sophomore or junior pursuing a quantitative degree (Math, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, or related)
- Commutable to the West Trenton, New Jersey office
- Advanced skills in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Self-directed learner with ability to learn quickly and pursue internship with enthusiasm and focus
- Ability to work well on a team or individually
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Willingness and ability to learn Property & Casualty insurance
