Entry-level Life actuarial internship in Omaha, Nebraska, with a not-for-profit insurer. Over 10 weeks, you may support individual life and annuity Product Development, Inforce Management, or Valuation work while gaining exposure to actuarial projects, leadership, and the insurance business. The role is aimed at college students pursuing ASA qualification who have completed at least one SOA exam.

Requirements

Must have

  • At least one SOA exam completed
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

Strongly preferred

  • Rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior in college with major in Actuarial Science
  • Working toward ASA certification
  • Ability to work 38.75 hours per week
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Exposure to programming languages (Python, R, SQL, VBA)
  • Provide S.T.A.R. customer service
  • Passion for making an impact in local communities
