You may build automation tools, projection models, dashboards, or experience studies, while communicating findings to actuarial and business stakeholders. The role is hybrid with three office days weekly and requires a 10-week, 40-hour commitment.
Requirements
Must have
- Available 40 hours/week for minimum 10 weeks
- Hybrid work: 3 days in NYC office per week
- Thursdays required in-office
Strongly preferred
- Active students: 3+ years of college towards degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, or related field
- Active students: Credit for one or more actuarial exams
- Graduates: Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics
- Graduates: 2 or more actuarial exams
Nice to have
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or Python
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (active students)
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills
