JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • 10-week Summer 2026 actuarial internship in Chicago (start June 1, 2026)
  • Support life product pricing, assumption setting, experience studies and reserving
  • Use Excel and Access; exposure to SQL Server and actuarial software is a plus
  • Full-time M–F 8:30am–5pm CT; must be able to work in office 4 days/week
  • Requires active student status and completion of 1+ actuarial exam

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • life insurance product pricing
  • life reserving and liability calculations
  • experience analysis and actuarial modelling

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Actively enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program (graduating Dec 2026 or May 2027 preferred)
  • Minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA
  • Completion of 1+ actuarial exam
  • Local to Chicagoland and able to work in office 4 days/week
  • MS Office skills including Excel and Access
