Actuarial Intern role at Berkley Fire and Marine in Chicago supporting specialty inland marine P&C work. This 10-week internship reports to the Senior Actuarial Analyst and includes exposure to the Chief Actuary and other operating units.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- 10-week actuarial internship in Chicago supporting specialty inland marine (P&C)
- Assist with data collection, analysis, monthly price monitoring and reserving
- Prepare summary-level rate indications and reports for niche books
- Support development and maintenance of actuarial models and databases
- Work 3–4 days/week; report to the Senior Actuarial Analyst

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics with 50+ credit hours
- Available to commit to a 10-week internship, working 3–4 days per week
