JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support actuarial valuation and reserving validation tasks
- Convert Excel processes to SQL and work with relational databases
- Build validation tools and assist Power BI reporting
- Summer 2026 internship — 29.5 hours/week, on-site in Minneapolis
- Paid hourly internship ($18.50/hr)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Major or Minor in Actuarial Science or related field
- SQL and relational database concepts
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Experience with business intelligence (Power BI) or reporting
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Major or Minor in Actuarial Science, Math, Econ, Stats, or Data Analytics
- Minimum junior status for 2026
- Knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and communication skills
