Actuarial internship in MetLife’s Retirement & Income Solutions team in New York, supporting retirement and individual annuity work. Across a structured 10-week program, interns may contribute to pricing, reserving, actuarial modeling, financial analysis, ALM, or investments. The hybrid role starts in person and requires at least three office days per week, with pay of $28-$35 per hour.

Strongly preferred
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in actuarial science or quantitative field
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Strong Excel skills with pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis
Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Leadership experience and strong communication skills
Interest in learning programming languages and emerging technologies
Nice to have
Currently enrolled in a master's degree program (preferred)
One or more SOA exams passed (preferred)
Experience with Python, R, SQL, SAS, or VBA (preferred)
Familiarity with AI and emerging technologies (preferred)
