P&C actuarial internship in South Sioux City, Nebraska, supporting commercial auto work for a trucking insurer. You’ll contribute to pricing, reserving, profitability, forecasting, and risk analysis while gaining exposure to actuarial models, claims data, and business reporting.

Requirements

Strongly preferred

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field
Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated interest in pursuing an actuarial career path
Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams
Experience with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and as part of a team

Nice to have

Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar analytical tools
