Structured actuarial internship

Closer to a student development placement than a modelling-heavy role because assignments rotate across several actuarial disciplines.

P&C actuarial internship in Boston with Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions’ Corporate Actuarial team. You’ll support specialty insurance work across pricing, reserving, predictive modeling, stochastic financial modeling, data reporting, and programming. The hybrid role is designed for students graduating in December 2026 or later.

Requirements

Must have

Working towards a bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field and graduating in December 2026 or later

Strongly preferred

Proficiency with computer software including Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and other data entry and spreadsheet applications
Strong mathematical aptitude
Outstanding organization/time management skills
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills

Nice to have

Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams
