Role Summary

Structured actuarial internship

Closer to a structured student programme than a modelling-heavy IC role because the ad emphasizes learning activities, networking, and supervised departmental work.

Remote actuarial internship based in the U.S., with work aligned to Life, Health, and Annuity insurance. You’ll support valuation calculations, pricing and valuation projections, actuarial software work, and technical documentation while working alongside experienced actuaries. The 10–12-week summer 2027 program is intended for rising juniors or seniors with at least one SOA exam passed.

Requirements

Must have

At least one SOA actuarial exam passed
Availability 40 hrs/week for 10-12 summer weeks
Willingness to work Central/Eastern time zone business hours
Unrestricted US work authorization (no visa sponsorship)
Work must be performed within the United States

Strongly preferred

Progress toward bachelor's in actuarial science, math or related
Rising junior or senior (graduation Dec 2027-June 2029)

Nice to have

Prior internship experience
Balancing education and part-time job during school year
Participation with university clubs
Two or more SOA exams passed
