Actuarial intern on the Americas Life Actuarial Reserving team in Charlotte, NC. Support life reinsurance reserving: model development, analytics, quarterly close, and ad-hoc risk studies. Hybrid internship (3 days in office, 2 remote). Suitable for a Bachelor’s student with one or more SOA exams passed.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support life reinsurance reserving modelling and analytics
- Assist with quarterly close processes and reserving accuracy
- Perform ad-hoc risk analyses and line-of-business studies
- Hybrid role — 3 days per week in-office, 2 days remote (Charlotte, NC)
- Internship for Bachelor’s students with 1+ actuarial exams passed

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, or Finance
- Successful completion of one or more SOA actuarial exams
- Exposure to (re)insurance concepts, preference for Life lines of business
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
