Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Part-time remote Actuarial Intern for Milliman’s Atlantic Region P&C practice. You will support consulting projects across insurance, reinsurance, and ILS clients by executing quantitative analyses, mostly in Excel, with opportunities to use R/Python/SAS. This internship is for students with at least one actuarial exam passed and is based in the United States (remote, with optional onsite in Wakefield, MA or Burlington, VT).

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Part-time (10–20 hrs/week) remote actuarial internship in P&C consulting
Execute quantitative analyses for client projects, primarily in Excel
Opportunity to use R, Python, SAS, VBA, @Risk and other modeling tools
1:1 mentoring and presentations to practice leaders
Must have passed at least one actuarial exam and be enrolled in degree program

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

One actuarial exam passed
Enrolled in bachelor’s or master’s in actuarial science, mathematics, or related
Substantial expertise with MS Excel
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
