ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Conduct appropriate research and data collection.
- Summarize analysis and findings with accuracy and proper level of detail.
- Work with others to develop best solutions and accomplish goals.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Follow department standards and procedures.
EDUCATION:
Currently enrolled in a formal University undergraduate degree program pursuing mathematics or actuarial science and possessing high level of achievement, including academic grades.
EXPERIENCE:
Previous responsibilities demonstrating goal-orientated outcomes and teamwork. Progress toward completion of an Actuarial exam.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and on a team.
- Ability and desire to learn various actuarial techniques and procedures.
- Ability and desire to become familiar with company operations, actuarial methodologies and computer systems.
- Completion of an Actuarial exam is a plus.
