JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Summer actuarial intern in Milliman's Life, Financial Risk Management, and LTS practice
  • Work on M&A valuation, cash flow testing, GAAP/statutory valuation and hedging models
  • Build stochastic models for Variable and Fixed Indexed Annuities
  • On-site in Chicago with flexible work arrangements considered
  • Ideal for actuarial students with ≥1 SOA exam passed and Excel/VBA skills

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Actuarial Science or similar
  • Completion of at least one Society of Actuaries exam and actively pursuing further credentials

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Actuarial Science or similar
  • Completion of at least one SOA exam and actively pursuing FSA, FRM, or CFA
  • Ability to work in-person in Milliman's Chicago office on a weekly basis
