Summer actuarial internship with Sun Life in Wellesley, Massachusetts, supporting students through real entry-level insurance actuarial projects. You’ll build technical skills, learn insurance concepts, use technology-based tools for analysis, and present your work to the actuarial community in a hybrid setting.

Requirements

Must have

Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program
Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0

Strongly preferred

Degree preferably in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or related area
Expected graduation between December 2027 to June 2028 preferred
Demonstrated interest and commitment to actuarial profession
Ability to translate complex, abstract concepts and theory
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Analytical, problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have

Prior actuarial internship experience a plus
Excel/VBA proficiency preferred
Programming skills preferred
