Summer 2027 P&C actuarial internship with Kentucky Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company in Louisville, Kentucky. You’ll support ratemaking, reserving, and data analytics across personal auto, homeowners, and other lines, while gaining exposure to insurance departments through training and collaboration. The role is on-site, runs May through August, and pays $23.50 per hour.

Requirements

Must have

High school diploma
Actively enrolled college student with at least two years toward a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or similar field
At least one actuarial exam passed
Regular, predictable attendance as employee has to physically be in the office

Strongly preferred

Ability to adhere to detailed instructions
Experience with at least one data-intensive coding language (SAS, R, Python, SQL, etc.)
Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets and other Microsoft Office products
Ability to work well with others
Must be a trustworthy, responsible person with strong work ethic

Nice to have

Preference given to multiple actuarial exams
