A structured student programme rather than a modelling-heavy IC role—the emphasis is on broad exposure, coaching, and a capstone.

P&C actuarial internship in Raleigh, North Carolina, for current sophomores or juniors. You’ll gain exposure to reporting, pricing, and reserving, with training, coaching, and a capstone presentation to executives. The 10-week hybrid program includes three onsite days and two remote days per week.

Requirements

Must have

  • Current Sophomore or Junior undergrad student working towards a degree in Actuarial, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Economics
  • Ability to commit for 10 weeks (May 17-July 23) working 37.5 hours per week
  • Willing to live or commute to Raleigh, NC during internship

Strongly preferred

  • Practical experience inside or outside of school or work
  • Demonstrable leadership experience (group projects and/or clubs)
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)
  • Proven team player who takes initiative and works with others
  • High-level analytical capabilities and drive for critical thinking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of SQL, R, or Python (a plus)
